About the Opportunity

We are hiring on behalf of one of our esteemed clients – a leading MNC in the Apparel Export industry, based in Maraimalai Nagar, Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for a sharp, organized, and analytically strong professional to work closely with the Business Director.

Key Responsibilities

• ✅ Be the primary contact for Japanese buyer teams — handling communication, visits & audits
• ✅ Translate/interpret between Japanese stakeholders and internal production teams
• ✅ Analyze production trends — efficiency, output, rejection rates, OTD
• ✅ Prepare MIS reports & dashboards for management and buyer reviews
• ✅ Coordinate with merchandising, planning, quality & production teams
• What we’re looking for:
  🔸 7+ years’ experience in apparel/garment manufacturing with buyer liaison & MIS exposure
  🔸 Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N3 or above preferred)
  🔸 Strong Excel skills; ERP/production tracking knowledge is a plus
  🔸 Excellent communication and cross-cultural coordination skillsoordinate with merchandising, planning, quality & production teams
